The Switches program was probably my most technical and most useful program
that I have ever written. I made it in response to a need in at General Dynamics. The data display portion provides four combo boxes of related data. Change one box and the others change to the corresponding data.

The HPOE Switch Display would appear whenever the “On/Off” button was set to “On”. The display is a close representation of a switch on the 2.5Gb HPOE. The display would correspond to the needed settings of this set of switches. (Also known as keys).

Later I added a means for the program to detect and give the option to change the Local/OS status of the HPOE’s Mac pack flash card. Detection of the Local/OS status was done by placing the flash card
in the PC card slot of a Notebook computer then pressing the button labled with the lightning bolt. The program also gave the option to switch the setting from one to the other.
